Can I get my order delivered?

Yes! We provide shipping options Australia-Wide through services such as Australia post, Chemcouriers and Border Express to best suit your order, location and shipping needs.

Due to the nature of being dangerous goods for most flooded &amp; auto batteries, we either allow local pick-ups or can help to organise deliveries to metro areas at customer’s cost, not including Northern Territory &amp; Tasmania. How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs are based on the type of service, size, weight and location of the delivery required. Please call your local branch to get an estimate on your delivery cost.

How long does it take to dispatch my order?

Upon confirmation of your order, all orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours. If there are any delays, you will be promptly notified.

Do you do express shipping?

Yes, we do express shipping for small parcels or light cartons by Australia-Post. While express shipping is not available when goods are either dangerous goods or too heavy, therefore could only be sent by other courier companies.

Can I collect from a local store?

If the product is available, we offer a reserve and collect service. Please be aware that the branch you choose to pick up your product from must have the product available. Please contact your local branch to find out if it is available to reserve.

Can I track my item?

Depending on your order, particularly those sent via standard Australian post with stamps, tracking is dependent on the delivery type and courier. Upon request, we can provide options that allow tracking on your delivery. To find out if you are able to track your delivery or to find your tracking number, please contact your local branch.

My order hasn’t arrived, what now?

If your order hasn’t arrived, please contact us and we will look into it for you immediately.

Can I use my own choice of courier for delivery?

Yes, provided that you have your courier account number, we are able to deliver your order through the courier of your preference.

Can someone else sign for my delivery?

Yes, it does not have to be the addressee. The signature is electronically logged for security reasons. Any signature at the address will be accepted as proof of delivery.

Why can’t I select next day delivery?

We can only offer next day on goods we have in stock at our dispatch depot.

Can I change my delivery address after submitting an order?

Due to the high volume of orders we receive, we will always do our best to stop or amend your order if possible. Please contact us immediately after placing the order.

Payments

I'm new, how do I order?

At Battery Guru, we go to great lengths to ensure your purchasing experience is as easy and secure as possible. There are several ways you can place your order. You can place your order on-line, or send an email to inquiry@batteryguru.com.au, or simply call our friendly customer support team at your local branch.

What are the payment options available?

We accept Cash on pickup, Credit cards, PayPal and Bank Transfer.

Can I make payment over the phone?

Yes, our friendly Team is available to place your payment via phone between 9:00am to 5pm Monday to Fridays. Please call your nearest office to organise this.

When will my card be charged for my order?

Due to the nature of our payments system, the full cost of the order will be charged to the card as soon as it is placed.

Can I pay with AfterPay?

No, AfterPay is not available as a payment option at this stage.

Products

I am looking to purchase a battery, but I am not too sure what battery I need, can you help me?

Best way to find out which battery type and model you need is to contact us and leave the hard work to us. In order to work out what is required and ensure you get the correct batteries, we may need to get some information from you, including:

  1.  application for the battery
  2.  model number of the existing battery you’d like to replace
  3.  physical dimensions & terminal layout, if none of the above information could be obtained.
How can I find the right battery for my cars, trucks or boats?

You may try the ‘battery finder’ on the home page, select either cars, trucks or boats, and then the make, model & year of your vehicles or boats, you’ll see the recommended batteries in the search results.

Alternatively, you can contact us and leave the hard work to us. We will need either your car registration number, or model & year etc of  your car to work out what is required and ensure you get the correct batteries.

Can I get more information on a product?

Enter the product code of the item into the search bar and it will return all the available information on that product. Alternatively: our specialist team is available to take your inquiries between 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Please visit our Contact Us page.

A part is not listed online so can you order for me?

Yes, we will do our best to order the part for you through our special orders team. Feel free to contact us to request your part.

How do I check if an item is in stock?

From time to time and particularly with some of our more popular items, due to the high rate of sale, there may be some discrepancies in stock levels. If you do wish to know if a product is in stock, please do not hesitate to contact us via email, or by phone to the nearest Battery Guru office to you.
